The G.A. Logix team is proud to announce the launch of ForestLogix 4.0, the most significant update to our flagship software since its creation. After more than a year of development in close collaboration with our field users, this new version arrives just in time for the 2026 forestry season with improvements that will transform the way you work.
An improved interface
The first thing you will notice when opening ForestLogix 4.0 is its improved interface. We reworked several screens with a focus on readability in field conditions: larger buttons, better contrast and simplified navigation. Menus have been reorganized according to the most common workflows, significantly reducing the number of taps needed to complete your daily tasks. The interface also automatically adapts to ambient light for optimal use, whether in direct sunlight or under forest canopy.
Drag-and-drop cut planning module
The cut planning module has been completely revamped and now includes a drag-and-drop feature that greatly simplifies operations organization. You can now visually move cut blocks on the map, reassign sectors with a single click and adjust schedules in real time. Planning conflicts are automatically detected and optimization suggestions are provided based on regulatory and logistical constraints.
3x faster synchronization and improved offline mode
Data synchronization between the field and the office is now three times faster thanks to a new differential synchronization engine. Only modified data is transferred, drastically reducing bandwidth consumption — a considerable advantage in areas where connectivity is limited. Offline mode has also been enhanced: you can now work for several days without a connection, with intelligent conflict resolution upon reconnection.
Compatibility with the latest tablets
ForestLogix 4.0 is now fully compatible with the latest rugged tablets available on the market, including the newest Emdoor and Samsung Galaxy Tab Active models. The software takes advantage of high-resolution screens and more powerful processors to deliver a smooth experience, even with large datasets. Battery management has also been optimized to maximize battery life during long days in the field.
How to get the update
ForestLogix 4.0 is now offered to all clients with an active maintenance contract. The update can be performed directly from the application via the Settings > Updates menu, or by downloading the installation file from your client portal.
